Insatiable orange monsters

"More orange! More!"

For the first couple of oranges, I carefully removed the flesh from the pith. Then I realized that leaving the pith on slowed them down enough that I could almost (but not quite) cut the oranges as fast as they were eating them.

Juniper joins the FFA

While Janet was here, we put in a small garden (basil, rosemary, and several varieties of tomato). Juniper was a very good helper!

One of the best things about our childcare arrangement is getting to see Juniper and Violet's increasing enjoyment of each other's company.

These days, Juniper is really into kicking. She'll vigorously kick her legs back and forth and announce "kickin'!" Today in the car, Juniper started a round of kicking, and Violet picked up the game. They were both kicking away, laughing, and having a great time. After a while, Juniper stopped, and so did Violet. Then Violet looked over at Juniper and asked, "Juper, wanna kickin'?"
